He is a passionate advocate for persons to have mobile access to their health information wherever and whenever they need or want it, to enable active participation and informed decisions regarding their health, for themselves and their family. An easy to use app, docsnap™ is a convenient way for individuals to keep track of and manage their families’ health and health records, communicate with their physicians and other medical providers, and to get helpful alerts and reminders about important health events. Dr. Mari has designed a mobile app that encourages individuals to be engaged as a member of their healthcare team. A sought-after speaker, Dr. Mari has presented on the topic of using technology to enhance provider/person interaction and EHR interoperability at HIE and healthcare IT conferences. He has spoken on the use of technology for providers to engage in a meaningful way with their acute and chronically ill patients.
  • Darrell Borne
    Darrell Borne | CFO, Co-Founder
    Darrell Borne is a co-Founder, Director and CFO of docsnap™, Inc. A senior-level financial executive, his experiences include leading finance and operations functions for public and private companies in the pharmaceutical, telecom, service, healthcare and manufacturing industries. Borne founded D. Consulting, Inc., a corporate financial consulting company, in 2011. Prior to that, he served as EVP, CFO for Shionogi, Inc. in the U.S. from 2008-2010. He also served as EVP, CFO, Treasurer and Secretary of Sciele Pharma from 2002 to 2008, which was acquired by Shionogi in 2008 for $1.4 billion. He also worked in hospitals as part of his career, helping with strategic initiatives. Borne’s specialties include M&As, organizational integrations, IPOs, SEC reporting and cost restructuring.

    David Borrill, Chief Operations Officer, is a senior leader in healthcare. During his career, Mr. Borrill has managed the implementation of complex healthcare IT systems on three continents and has worked for companies such as GE Healthcare and Leidos Health. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in biology, a Master’s degree in business administration, and is a certified medical technologist. He also is a project management professional as recognized by the project management institute.  Mr. Borrill enjoys the innovative spirit at docsnap™ and believes that it is key to both disrupting and changing the way healthcare is delivered, with greater interoperability and improvements in population health.

    Maren Everton Rph., FASHP | SVP Strategic Business Development
    Maren Everton, Senior Vice President of Strategic Business Development, focuses on executive-level relationships and positioning of Docsnap™ technology and services to C-Levels at Strategic Accounts. Ms. Everton is a pharmacist with extensive executive management experience in U.S. and international sales, consulting, leadership, strategy, project management and organization focused on system solutions and services.  She has established and expanded innovative service roles and technology for improving patient safety and clinical outcomes; educated healthcare professionals; and promoted the use of rational, evidence-based medical practices at companies such as Leidos, Dell, Siemens and other leading companies in digital clinical records.  Ms. Everton excels at strategic planning with client executives for innovative opportunities to leap frog healthcare in a heavily regulated environment.
  • Kevin Dorrance, M.D., FACP
    Kevin Dorrance, M.D., FACP | CMO
    Dr. Kevin Dorrance is the Chief Medical Officer of docsnap and former Chief Medical Officer of the U.S. Navy. During his more than 35 year military service he served as Chief of Medicine at Bethesda Naval Hospital and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. During his career he led numerous initiatives, including the development and implementation of the successful Patient-Centered Medical Home program for the Military Health System. He is a thought leader in healthcare transformation and advocate for free-market reforms and deregulations that will give patients choices, improve quality and drive innovation. He understands that the primary drivers of chronic disease and the ever-rising cost of healthcare are the result of the decisions we make as individuals and the habits that are reinforced within our social circles and positive impact that the application of technology can have in driving change. He joined the docsnap team of doers to support their mission to disrupt healthcare and help people live healthier lives.
