Why Docsnap Exists
Docsnap puts family at the center of its solution because Molly, daughter to Founder & CEO Dr. Anthony Mari, was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a chronic illness, in 2019.
In the search for Molly's diagnosis, she received care from numerous medical specialties across multiple health systems. Her medical records were locked in disconnected systems, leading to wrongly prescribed medications, duplicative testing, surgical complications, and severe anxiety.
As someone who understands the healthcare system, Dr. Mari made it his mission to find a solution to this all-too-common problem. No other family should have to go through what the Mari family went through.
Our Founder
As a doctor, husband, father of six, and grandfather, Anthony has lived his life serving his family and community — from coaching soccer and basketball to volunteering at his local church and serving on the board of Curing Kids Cancer.
He's acutely aware of the problems in healthcare today because he's lived them with his family. As a doctor, he knows it doesn't have to be this way.
Anthony believes care is something the healthcare system should do with patients, not just to patients. His passion for helping others drives the entire Docsnap team to revolutionize the healthcare experience for all of us.
